As a professional Jolly Phonics trainer, with extensive teaching experience, I am passionate about taking every opportunity to consolidate letter sound knowledge and awareness. The ‘symbols’ of language are all around us and not confined to text alone. Let’s sharpen our observation skills and reboot our outlook on ‘seeing sounds’.

Fun, easy to understand, creative suggestions for parents and/or teachers of young learners are invaluable. Let’s begin our adventure together by ‘seeing sounds’ in the world around us. We can improve young learners’ overall comprehension skills and heighten the observation skills of one and all. With hands-on and practical ideas through activities, games and crafts we can become more ‘in tune’ with our environment and be more aware in general.

I have used the Jolly Phonics program for many years, but this blog will look at inspiring new ways of making learning even more engaging and even more fun for young learners, and their parents and teachers alike. Through innovative approaches of looking at our letter sounds, we can make the process of learning and teaching for that matter even more pleasurable.
